Tired Tuesday What's Happening?
Good Morning Everyone,
I hope everyone is having a blessed day today. I know I am blessed. I got through my surgery with a bit of extreme pain when I came out of anasthesia, but the nurse was great in getting me pain meds till it was under control. I had such sweet nurses, and my doc is the best. Turns out one of my pre-op nurses worked at the bariatric hospital I had my RNY done at when I was there. Then, she was a floor nurse, so she probably took care of me. Now that I am home, and have had a good night's sleep, I am up, for now. I'll probably fall asleep here in my rocking chair.
My day will consist of R&R, Resting and Recuperating. I premade three casseroles to make myself plates and heat up in the microwave. My post-op instructions include limiting my bending, so I am hand-washing my dishes for now. For that reason, I made two of my casseroles in aluminum pans, and can just pitch them when I'm done.
What are the rest of you up to? I'm thinking of Nancy in Michigan, and Nancy in Canada, and everyone else who is struggling valiantly, not complaining or griping. I keep you all in my prayers.

Trish, I am praying for a speedy recovery for you. Follow doctor's orders. And the Nancys are always in my prayers, as well.
After my tea, I'll chuck the ball awhile, then breakfast at IHop. When we are full we'll head to the Farmer's Market. This week I'm gonna make peach jam, strawberry rhubarb jam and blueberry jam. I have freezer strawberry jam made, I may make some regular strawberry jam too. That I can mail to my daughter and take some to my Sissy's house.
God watered our flowers again last night so I don't have to go water my DIL's flowers. I just have to pick up her mail and newspaper.

Utley loves to play fetch. He chucks the ball at me when he wants to play. He once threw the ball at my Mom across the dining room table. He just loves to play so much, I have to lock him in my bedroom when I have company, till the end of the visit, because he never leaves my guests alone. He keeps tossing the ball in their laps. Not mine, theirs.
We play in the apartment more than outside. If I am in my rocker, I toss it into the kitchen, there's a wide opening so there's little chance of hitting anything. If I am in the hall, I toss it to the other end. If I am in bed, watching T.V., I will toss it into my walk-in closet that is very long. Now that I have some outdoor chairs, we can also play outside, weather permitting.
I do follow doctors' orders, to a T. In fact, the friend I had been mentoring was getting rides from me to doctors, labs, radilogy and pharmacies. She never was compliant with her doctors. I gave her a warning that I would stop driving her if she wasn't compliant, and Also, told her she was wasting my time by me driving her all the time, and then she stays sick because of her noncompliance. Sure enough, she was playing with a seizure medication, because it also is used as a tranquilizer, and not taking it as prescribed. So, I told her I would no longer drive her, because of what I told her months ago. That was soon followed by her arguing with me about something I said when mentoring her. Then she blocked both of my phone numbers.

Thank you ladies. I am feeling better so far this week. My Dh & my son are bringing up 7 of my grandaughters on Thursday. I won't be alone with them. Not that I can't handle it, they just worry I will get too tired. I am so excited.My other son lives 1
& 1/2 mile from here so they will be here sometime too. For swimming I am sure.
Trish, I hope you heal soon. Caroline I wish we were closer & I could get some help on American Girl doll clothes. I have made some, but my eyes aren't that great anymore. I have also made Raggerty Ann dolls. I really miss not getting to sew as much.

Carolyn: Do you have more hours in your day then I have? Just wondering.
Nancy: WOW All those grandchildren coming to visit. I'm sure you will have a very wonderful time together.
This morning finds me at home. Finished up sitting for Rufus and Moa. Of course, I fell in love. I always do. Animals are so wonderful to have around. Ellen said Bela took to sitting in my recliner while I was gone. Hope he is willing to give it back to me.
Have a meeting at church this AM and then PT. I'm in cleaning mode today. Did laundry at Jackie's so all I have to do is put it away. That's good. My shampoo opened up on the way home. Many things ruined. I'll put it in a Ziploc next time. I usually do but thought it would be okay this one time. Oh well, things were inexpensive items.
The check engine light went off by itself. Prayers are working. Thanks for caring so much. Canceled the appointment as they said they need the light on when they do the diagnostic test.
Had my best Pampered Chef show ever. Nearly doubled what was my highest dollar amount. July 8th I will have a nice commission check for June sales. I think July will be even better.

Good morning all, I haven't checked in for awhile. It has been a crazy summer. I hope all of who have had surgery are on the road to recovery. I just got back from San Diego. It is so beautiful there. It was about 70 degrees the whole time we were there. Our hotel was near the bay. Now that I am home I am catching up. I can't believe it will be july soon. I had an exciting day., I got to visit with one of my bestest friends in the world.....I havent seen my riend Jackie in 10 years..... I spent the afternoon with her yesterday.,
It seems that the whole state of /Colorado is on fire and my husband might not be coming tomorrow. The bridge from Bradenton to Tampa[ is closed because of the rain. I told him to take I-75. ?Well between the two of them thell figure out how to get to tampa. He has to be at the airport at 1pm. He better show up.....
well my internet has to be charged up and I dont have the charger with me so Ill let you go. talk to all of you later. Carla

Had a huge post about everything and it stopped working!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR lost the whole dam post!!!!!!!!!! No time to re do it all....no Randy didn't get fired...YET!!!!!!! He is hanging by a tight and I do mean TIGHT rope!!!!!!!!! All HIS fault too!!!! Days are numbered!!! :-) Can't wait for him to hang himself!!!!! Big party to follow!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAOOOOOOOOOOO
